Bear down
« on: September 28, 2010, 07:19:01 PM »
Got this boar last Tuesday but have had issues posting pictures.Walked into an area with a friend and spotted a nice bear but the wind hit us wrong and he disappeared.later that day we came across a sow and her two cubs and watched  the cubs wrestle with eachother as the sow worked the berries over.Keep moving and glassing hillsides till I spot another bear or the same from earlyer that day.The winds blowing just right so I head after him.At about 150 yards I set up on a rock and fire a shot,He goes running and I fire again before he disappears in the trees.I start making my way towards him and spot him down through an opening in the trees. He lifts his head looks around and puts it back down so I take another shot and off he goes again but slower and slower and then rolls down the hill. After about 30 minutes of looking find him dead in a creek another 100 yards or so farther.
