Heard some heading south tonight in Snohomish.  Sounded high and heading for Tule Lake, CA.  Can't wait, heading to Sask end of next week to do some field hunting. :)

The migration is starting.  I could hear some high flying pitchy calls earlier this evenning.  Probably some of the Kalamath Falls / California birds.  The snows should start arriving any day now in the Skagit / Snohomish bay.

I drive the island this morning then again this afternoon.  I did not see any using the fields yet.  They must be sitting in the bay or down towards Snohomish.

Yea, h20,  I havnt seen any flocks in fields either. Last week there was a loner with about 8 honkers in that hughes field across from washington alder. The ones we saw yesterday were pretty low over the south fork delta.

Wednesday morning heard several flights heading towards Snohomish, I'm in Marysville.  It's the sound that freezes you in your tracks. Good way to start the day.  Heard one flight Thursday morning.
