Did anyone hit the Nile for the early season??(elk)

Just wondering if anyone tryed hunting the Nile now they have changed the early season to spikes only... Anyone do any good???

I took my 12 yr daughter out for modern there, and it seems the elk havent had that much pressure.

We didn't go but a friend of mine went.  No spikes, so he left.
