The last time I was ther was 2003. Some *censored*s thought it was cool to shoot off their pistols at 11:00 at night...all drunked up. Haven't been back since.....don't plan on going back. I did kill this the next morning after their night time drunkfest shootoff though.   Good luck to you and all the others who venture out there.

Looks like NWBREW will be heading back

Fond memories but damn it seems like the entire city of Seattle moves into that area.  Good luck as we have had success to include elk, deer, and cougar.

That is exactly why I won't go back.  I probably would if I had a bull tag though.  Good luck to you.

Just got back. Saw absolutely nothing. Didn't even see anything (deer or elk) hanging in any camps!! The amount of hunters also seemed to be VERY low....

I have been up there for the last five years on opening weekend for modern. There are a lot of road hunters, and it is hard not to run into another hunter up there on the trails. Eveyone is on ATV's and camped in every spot on the mountain. Used to be alot of deer and elk in the area but the numbers keep getting worse every year. Wish you the best of luck!
A bad day hunting is better then any day at work
