He's coming along nicely
« on: September 29, 2010, 09:51:51 PM »
Sam has been at the trainers for the past month.  What a great transformation.  He LOVES the water now, liked it before, now he's part otter.  :)  He's really going out and searching now and really locks down on point.  Shows some good intensity.  Doesn't hold the point for a LONG time, but doing better and better everyday.  He's got a great nose and is learning to use it.  This fall is going to be alot of fun!  Here's a few photos from the past few days.

This photo was at the end of the day and the trainer was putting him up for the night and he locked up hard on this bush which had about 50 tweety birds in it.  :)

Good looking dog Fred

And a very versatile breed. Have to bring over to my area to chase quail and chukar.
