Big Desert Buck??
« on: October 03, 2010, 12:11:06 PM »
Got a email with a pic of a real toad of a buck that I believe came out of the Desert unit.  Anyone know anything?  Looks to be a 30" + 5x4!

I have no idea who the guy is.  One of those emails where it has no story and it is someone who knows someone.  I wouldn't feel comfortable posting it not knowing anything about it.

Sounds like a monster of a buck. I haven't seen or heard of anything about it.

After looking at the regs I see there has been no hunts in the desert unit yet so the info I got is not correct.

I guess I just misunderstood when told "out in the desert somewhere".  Be cool if the hunter joined up and shared with us.

Good thinking.  If you don't have the hunter's permission, I wouldn't post it.  Congrats to the hunter though.

Heard there was a pic of a big buck at hooked on toys. I was told it looked like the desert unit. Could this be the same deer?

Sounds like the same.   :dunno:
