sorry if this is a little long but you gotta hear the whole story Well i had a spot up by spokane that was incerdible 500 acers we put in a 4 acre food plot there was proably 25 bucks on this property my deer hunting partner shot a 10x11 whitetail off it in 08 and there were multiple 140 + class whitetails and only 3 people hunted it.....well the land owner decided that no one was gonna hunt it in 2010 and that kinda put me up the creek so i started to seach around. i grew up about 3 miles from this property where my mom still lives and my sister just down the road so i asked my mom and sis if i could put trail cams on their property they said go for it well the second week of august i was only getting does and yearling bucks so i was a little down well the third week i was starting to pick up a couple nice bucks on my sisters property a couple 5x5s and one thick 6x6 now the thing about my sisters property is thats there is a 200 acre irrigated alfalfa and some other high end plant the guy plants with it then sells the bales for twice as much then regular alfalfa well this field is a deer elk and moose magnet and only 50 yards from my sisters house so natuarlly i set up my ground blind on her property 200 yards down from her house. well the first rolled around and i sat the blind the morning and evening and nothing showed except a couple does and a small 3x3 so i gave it a rest and went back on the 4th when i checked the camera there was this giant on there and i knew immediately this was the buck i wanted so the evening of the 5th i passed up on the thick 6x6 (see pic) so the morning of the 6th i saw him 200 yards out in this field right a first light but he decided he didnt wanna come my way so i left there a little down that evening i came back with high hopes. at 7 i had two does come in to my pile of apples and corn they spooked shortly after and i went back to playing my pocket yatzee game 15 minutes later i heard a noise and looked up! one of the does was back i went back to yatzee i could hear another deer on the left of my blind proably the other doe i looked up. there he was 15 yards away staring right at me and im pretty sure he could hear my heart beating well he didnt see me my bow was on the ground next to me i reached slowly down grabbed it, he was still there now broad side i leaned back in my chair and drew back as i leaned forward my chair gave out a long loud squeak that he heard bucks dont get that big being stupid he started to walk away now quatering away it was now or never 15 yards i slipped it behind that last rib and it stopped in his off set shoulder taking out his boiler maker in the prosess he ran 70 yards and kealed over i gave him 45 minutes then went a put my hands on the biggest whitetail of my life a once and a life time trophy
