Last day buck
« on: October 04, 2010, 08:54:24 AM »
My wife has done all of you a favor  :chuckle:

She realizes that you all like to shoot the big heavy bucks that may score well and humbled herself to do a public service and remove from the gene pool a buck that wouldn't be a help to the greater cause.  Last day of season, with an hour to go, she killed this buck.  He has 4 points and an eye guard on one side and a spike on the other.  She hunted everyday but one of the season, one of those days I was out of town and she took 3 kids with her and went out alone, actually missing this buck the day before.  I came back from elk hunting to help her on the last day and we found him again.  He went about 40 yards and went down.

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

The goofy thing is that I've see 5-6 bucks with one antler or just an eye guard on em.  I should dig up the pics....but some incest going on out here I think... :dunno:
