Leaving tomorrow for Norht Idaho Elk.  Slated two weeks and need it after this stressful year of work.

Same here.  Will be my first year hunting the panhandle for elk and took both weeks from work off and can not wait!

No elk left in the Panhandle areound Calder.  Wolves have taken them all out.  Oh ya and only small bucks.

My buddy was successful in harvesting a bull during archery season while we were there is what  I should have said.  He purchased a second elk tag and a deer tag so we are headed back for that hunt in a couple weeks.  His dad and brother are in there hunting starting Sunday.  I will let you know how they fare. Good luck.

dscubame--We are further North, so far haven't had any big problems with the wolf population.
