Hi guys, I just found this site. I have lived in Bellingham all my life except while in the Navy. I have been hunting in the Okanogan area for the past 50+ years and just learned that this years trip is out. I have a 16 year old grandson who has been my hunting partner since he was 8. This year it it his little brother's turn to join us. Sadly, we are stuck in Whatcom county for this season. Can anyone point me to some accessible areas to take the boys? We hope to go out several times before the season ends so load me up with several starting points. I'm not looking for your secret spots, but I have no idea where to begin.

Well, from one "grandpa" to another.....I'm tired of driving hundreds of miles East.  Don't know if the very few areas I'm look'in at are any good yet here close to home on the Wetside, but I started w/Blacktails in Northern Calif & I'm gonna try to stay closer to home & hunt a little smarter.
