What kind did they take and did you have a security box?

I was at wall-mart today and they have some Tasco trail cams for $50.00. I bought one and took it home. Set it up out in the back yard and it seems to work great in the day or dark. Worth the $50. I will be back to buy a few more.

I feel your pain. I just had one of my camera's stolen the other day as well.  :bash: Fricken sucks man. I had mine watching a particular corner of a clear cut. You couldn't see if from the road. So someone had to walk the 100+ yards off the road to find it. Fricken theives. It was only up for one day during the season. Guess I should of picked it up before the season started. Oh well
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

Sorry for your loss,
after reading the posts on the thread about tree stands, and decoys, it is not surprising.
was it on "public" land ?
you probably left it there for more than 24 hours......

Well just came out of the woods with the great news that some low-life P.O.S. stole my Cuddeback.  Yeah I know better than to leave it in woods during hunting season but I would think that most sportsman are good guys,  I guess I was wrong.  The camera was not in a obvious spot but it only takes the wrong person to walk in front of it for it to disappear.  damn i am mad

IF... you have that kind of money... it might be worth it to invest in a camera that instantly sends a photo to your email.
At least then you'll have a picture to give to the police of the person walking off with your camera.
Kind of hard to argue that you didn't steal the camera when you have a picture of the guy taking it.

I am not real schooled on those cameras but doesn't your camera have to be in cell phone range....at least someone told me that I don't know how much truth there is to it.  I have thought of getting one of those cameras but I don't know anyone who has one to get a good review.
