Shilen, Pac-Nor, Krieger, Liga or Hart are good ones.  Im having some work done on one of my rifles and almost had it re-barreled this year......  Maybe next year. lots of good match grade barrels out there.  Getting a good action is very important also. :dunno:

I have a Krieger and its great.  My next Barrel will most likely be a Pac-Nor super match grade don't know what cal yet though so many choices so little time......

Getting a quality stock is very important also.

i myself am interested in one day building a larger medium bore (35 or bigger) bolt rifle. i envision a very short , handy, rifle to hang on the side of my saddle. it should have a ghost ring. and be synthetic of stock. tho the finish is ugly, it should also have a parkerized finish

Douglas, Hart, Shilen are all reputed to be top-shelf.

I did that once for beer in college.  Talk about getting more bang for your buck.  Sell your plasma and replace it with beer.

I have one Lilja,  any of the barrels listed above are good.  The guy who built my rifle swears by the Lilja.  Mine shoots a 180 into -.5 with a Partition at 3400fps no muzzle brake.
