With the modern season opening a week away, i would like to see where everyone will be hunting or a general area. i will be hunting the stormking unit just south of elbe. hopefully we can get some meat on the table and not tag soup, it tastes really bad.

U will find me either hunting for a big blacktail in the Skagit Valley somewhere or in the Okanogan looking for a big muley!    Depends on weather!    Cant wait to get back in the woods!!!

Heading over to Winthrop with my Father in law. I still don't know why I let him talk me in to this.   :bash:

i think i will hold out the general season and hunt with my 300 wsm in the middle of november, after all thats when the big boys come out too play right.ive always done well  and seen lots a deer but i just think i will wait till everyone else is done and drop the hammer on somthing  then .after all thats when the rut  or migration will kicking in  plus there wont be anyone else out there where i go on no tell'em peak :chuckle: so with bad weather and shorter days another advantage.
