My first bow was also a Parker. I bought the hunter mag in a ready to shoot package. It was very affordable and fit my price range. It shot great and was very quiet. When I decided that I truly wanted to bow hunt, I also upgraded. Went another direction, but not because Parker was not a good bow. I gave that bow to my nephew, and he has shot 2 elk in the last 4 yrs with it. He loves it . I would highly recomend the parker to anyone.
