Good luck to all you rifle hunters! I'm hunting with stick and string this year so I will be missing out on the modern opener. Weird to be sitting here at my computer, 1st time I have never been out for the modern opener. Last year found me hiking in the Methow in a downpour, was soaked, tired and had to climb in my tent by 3:30 in the afternoon to avoid getting all my gear wet and ruining my hunt. It was a long 16 hours in that tent by myself. Looks like there is better weather this year.
Anyhow, look forward to see what hits the ground, be safe out there this weekend! and take pictures!
