just a little question about the regs.
« on: October 11, 2010, 08:40:40 AM »
Hahaha just kidding! Just totally stoked for saturday, not sure I'm going to sleep at all friday night after work 11pm then to be up and at em at 4 ish, not sure if such little sleep is better than no sleep.

But here is the real question, how much sleep do you try to get the night before hunting? I try to go to bed before 10pm but circumstances have changed this opening day for me.

I usually like to go to bed before 10pm also.  Then I look at the ceiling for a few hours.  Then I get up and watch tv for a few hours. Then I fall asleep on the couch for about an hour or so.  Then I get up and get dressed make coffee and head out :chuckle: Good Times!

on nights before I know i'm getting up early (2-4am) I don't drink any alcohol and try to go to bed by 9 if possible, no later than 10-11.

I usually get to the road I want to hunt the evening before and park right in the middle to block any traffic from disturbing the place over night and sleep in my truck so when it gets daylight I just roll the window down and drive up the road and I'm hunting !!!  ;)

Won't block me! I'm bikin it!

I hoping to get some sleep the night before, may even take the Nyquil (sp?) route at 6pm just to make sure. But heading to the general area @ 2-3am, meeting up with Skillet for some coffee hopefully then hitting the trail around 5am.

Theres plenty of room for all of gods animals.... right next to the mashed potatoes!
