Lewiston area has tons of field Canada goose hunting and duck hunting around the snake for mallards and woodies... thats about all I know... I have a buddy from there who does a lot of that. sorry I don't have more info for you..... and if you wanted to head towards the Tri-Cities. I have heard that Umatilla and Burbank area's are phenomenal.....

When I use to live in pullman my neighbor use to go down by costco (clarkston) on the snake and limit out on mallards and get a couple gees everytime he went, but that was 12 years ago so who knows now. I use to go down below lower granite dam and do really good sometimes and be dead other times. I got it pretty easy when I go back to visit family theres a creek that runs thru the property that I jump shoot ducks off of. Good luck to you.

from Pullman your best bet is to hunt the central ferry area on the Snake River, if you have a small boat you can hunt deadman slough.

If your banking it there is some shore access just down past central ferry park on the whitman county side. Shallow water is very hard to find on the snake, but again there is a few spots.

This area is not what it used to be for ducks, Nov is typically decent with a mix of mallards and golden eye.
