Wolf caught on trail cam
«
on:
October 11, 2010, 09:08:51 PM »
So I went out to check the game cams, switched the cards and on my way back to the cabin I looked down and saw this track...
It had rained pretty hard the day before so the tracks weren't clear but still easy enough to tell what made them. When I looked through the pics this is what I saw...look in the upper right corner by the larch tree.
I zoomed in and it was all too clear

This is at our cabin near Clarkia, Idaho. Less than 300 yards from our front door. A few years ago from the exact location I caught another pic of a wolf. No surprise there are wolves around here, but too close for comfort.

to be honest i dont apy attention to all the wolf regs and stuff. so in idaho can you easily get a tag and and bag him. or can u go buy three 3 sheep and and let the wolf do what it's gona do then react in self defense of your livestock?

Wish it was as easy as getting a wolf tag in Idaho. It was announced over the weekend that there will be no wolf hunting season this year. It got shut down by a federal court judge.

First off - good eyes for spotting that in your pic!! But on the other hand I am sorry to hear that you spotted that in your pic...
It's only a matter of time and the wolves will do to Washington what they have done to Idaho...
