Find the food source and you have a VERY good chance of taking one.  Or find good fresh bear sign and predator call one in.  Good luck neighbor!!   :hello:

get out there and look for tree scrapes, scat and berries!

You'l probbaly find them in areas where there are still berries, which can be pretty much everywhere, but I know of bigger bear pops around Issaquah/North Bend. Look for trees that are discolored due to having their bark scratched/ripped off, and it can't hurt to try using a few fawn distress calls if you got em'

Another not so secret tip would be to listen. bears dont seem to be all that concerned with how quite they are, so you'l often hear one huffing around if your close. Other animals nearby will react to having a bear in the area, so listen for barking squirrels/etc

Also, scan up inside trees to see if any are hanging out above you, could make for an easy shot (& fall)

I'm heading out this weekend to try'n bag me one, maybe even after work today

Good luck!!!
Theres plenty of room for all of gods animals.... right next to the mashed potatoes!

Wear some tread off the boots. We have put on some serious miles in the last few weeks to get into some bears. In the last week it has been coming together, saw 3 bears in about 8 hours of hunting just couldn't seal the deal. They are out there, just takes time and patience to see them. I will tell you that once you do get into an area that has bears and you see one you will be wanting to bounce off the walls.

spend some time at it. if you are in the right areas, and the bears are around. you should have a good chance of bumping into some. as long as you are hunting.
