Heading to the Nile for the late archery
« on: November 24, 2010, 09:22:59 AM »
My dad and I are heading out next week to hunt the Nile foe Deer and Elk. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or info as far as the weather goes? Are the Elk on the move yet or is the snow not that bad? If your going to be in the area between the 2nd & 3rd hit me up let's grab a beer at Whistlin Jacks. Good luck to everyone and can't wait to see everyone's success.

If its around boulder cave, its a resident herd that will stick it out there all winter. They get fed alfalfa, so they are there to stay. I had 2 5 point bulls the first couple hours, and i gave a haircut to a spike later in the day. Jumped the string. I split up about 20, but they wernt too spooked. It is COLD, but alot of sign, and plenty of movement.
