No offense, but have you been spraying paint into a brown paper sack and then inhaling it deep into your lungs? There are no white-tail around Ellensburg. There are mule deer though.

If you want whitetails you're gonna need to hit a different part of the state.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

The Oak rail tavern, might find some white-tail there.. :chuckle:

Actually that's not quite true, 2 of the past three winters knocked the herd down about 60-75%.  Some whitetails are there, but it's certainly not loaded anymore.

OH...I stand corrected then, its been 5yrs sense I hunted White-tail. Last time I did I've seen 12 bucks in 5 days in that area (mostly spikes and forkers, all shooters). So I just assumed they were still going strong. My bad.
