lived here for a while hunted here since I was a kid. Never seen a whitetail. You might want to do your home work on deer species

Mule deer is all you'll find around the Ellensburg area.

Dont worry about the whitetails just go hunting up there! much rather shoot a mule deer anyways

If you don't get one then you can go hunt whitey in the late season! Good luck to you adnd your boy

I haven't heard of any in that area either. only muleys that i know of..
