My favorite hunting story of the year so far.  Congrats on the buck and the special time spent with your son.

Great story. Those moments are great and memories that last a life time. Congrats on the deer and introducing another young buck to the world of hunting.

That was a great story and awesome picture.   Congrats on a job well done!   Going to mount those spikes on a board for his room?

Very cool story, than you for sharing with us.  Definitely starting him out right, you should have a hunting partner for life.  I know that there is nobody I'd rather hunt with than my son.

i agree, best story this year!  i took my 2 year old daughter turkey shooting last year and she loved it.  i can't wait to get her out deer hunting.  she scouts with me and checks the trail cam, but she's not "quiet" ready....   :chuckle:

Cool, that's the best. My boy (7) and I are going for our first duck hunt. I hope it goes half that well.

Great story brings back lots of memories from my kids 1st hunting trip.  He is 7 now, still haven't put a tag on anything with him, but hopefully that will change this weekend.
