Well he lives for another day
« on: October 15, 2010, 10:26:06 AM »
So I went out hunting on Tuesday evening to the exact spot where i shot my bobcat the same day and saw a huge boar eating berries. I watched him for about 20 minutes and finally I took the shot, and low and behold missed, not only once, but twice. I think he was farther than I thought but it was a clear clean miss. My question is, will he be back to feed in that same spot? There is a huge berry patch there and the only one that I have found in the area.

Send me a a grid coordinate of the berry patch and I will sit watch for you. If he returns and I stick him with my bow I will send you a pic letting you know he did infact return to the spot one last time.  :)
God Bless,
Scott

We let my little cousin shoot at a little boar on opening day this year and missed. I ended up killing him 5 days later about 200 yards from where he was missed on opening day, so I would say yeah he very well could show back up, especially if that's the only good berry patch left around there.

Just make sure you know why you missed before you take another shot.  :'( You must have borrowed the gun. Next time you carry the bow and I will make him smile with the 300 Mag.  :guns:
