That big ol neck looks mighty doable to me if it were close and stationary. I guess the lack of a back drop would be an issue....AKA skyline....

Texas heart shot
I killed a buck once taking off like that, only shot I had. My first shot put him down but was high and when he got up he was going straight away, had to do it. Definately not a chot Id take though.
