Opening day of deer season, a death, and a happy 12 year old
« on: October 16, 2010, 09:42:27 PM »
Well today was a fun and exciting day and a sad one all in one. We had a great day of hunting and on our way home to Ellensburg we saw the accident. There was a head on accident on blewett pass tonight. I was there and was very sad tonight for the person who passed away. Both cars were smashed up. The driver passed that is all I know at this time. it took forever for the ambulance to get there. Say a prayer for them all. I was over hunting in the swakane today with my brother in-law and friend. we saw 5 bucks taken today and a very happy little boy that got his first deer. A nice hunter spotted the deer, while looking at it a second car pulled up and he let the kid harvest his first deer. He made a great 210 yard shot!!

Always makes you think about life , reflect and appreciate yours when you see stuff like that. Sad for the families. Mike

We saw a bad accident over here on the west side today outside of eatonville, not sure if it was a fatality, but they had the road shut down.  Sad reminder of how fragile we all are.
