Shoulder Mount
« on: December 27, 2010, 07:07:09 PM »
I was wondering how much a shoulder mount for an elk, would cost. We have never done a full shoulder mount, so we don't know what they cost. It is a 6x6 that was taken today and the local taxidermist wants $1,000, but we dont know if that is too much, any help would be beneficial. Thank you

depends on who you go to, look at their work and make sure that you are happy with it. Some will charge more depending on how big it is and what kind of modifications they have to do.

I charge 750.00 for any size elk and any pose other than bugling and pedistal.

Give true to life taxidermy a call. Jeff reeves does an awsome job, he is kinda errogant but his work is awsome, he is located out in orondo.  There is rolley with wildlife creations in mallaga,  Yedneck is also in wen. you can get a quote from him. Just some local guys to check out
