Nice Pics!  I love the maples!  Reminds me of home.  It's pretty much all evergreens where I'm at now.

Hey that's my bull!  I have been looking for him for quite some time.  Where did you find him?  Let me know and I'll be up on November 6th to retrieve him.   :chuckle:

Great pic man!  Those maples are amazing! I have a 1,000 foot long driveway and am thinking about lining it with those kind of maples.   Nice bull but look how tiny that calf is, it still has spots.

Awesome pictures Dman.  Those maples are incredible.  Not jacking your thread, but they appear to be either Autumn Blaze or October Glory.  I have a few hundred all potted up in 2 gallon pots for sale for $10.   Anyone intersted, drop me an email.   Awesome bull too.

I showed my wife those pics and she said that is the trees that she wants for our driveway.  Blacktailer, how tall are the ones that you have and how far apart should I plant?  I might need a few.

The ones I have are currently 6-8 feet tall and probably 1/2-3/4" caliper.  I bought them from a nursery down in Oregon this Spring 'cause I needed a bunch for my own long driveway and didn't feel like droppping $50 or more a pop.   I figured while I was down there, I'd pick up some extras.  I have the October Glory's, Autumn Blazes and the Armstrongs of the Maples.  I planted them organic compost in 2 gallon pots and fertilized them with osmocote.  Maples are a beautiful Fall tree and are very hearty and almost any soil type.  Spacing is more of a personal preference.
