It's one simple step we have to take to work towards delisting. It's also not the 1st time someone on here has spoke of wolves there.
Spent several days in the area between Colville & Chewelah looking for WT. Last two years we have hundreds of deer and this year it was a total bust. Spent a lot of time talking to other hunters and locals and Wolf word kept coming up. Spoke with a taxidermist from the area and he said this has been the worst ever for deer coming into his shop. We pounded the mtn's on horses and boots a min of10 - 12 miles a day and saw little if no sign that the deer have even been in that area. Saw plenty of moose sign. What a strange experience. Anybody else hunt the area this year? What was your experience? Wolves are up around metaline falls and le cler creek. But the winter kill has been ruff on the deer up north the past few yearsso just add wolves and we get no deer
What you have a picture of there is the demise of hunting as we know it....
