Such a waste of a couple of nice bucks, the tasty venison, and the experience for someone else was robbed, DAM SHAME And how in the hell could you even justify the 2x1, Stevie Wonder could see he's not anywhere near legal!!

That completely ticks me off. I just spent 6 days chasing Mulies around hill sides, wheat fields and sage brush. Could taken about a dozen 2pts (in a 3pt min. area) but never had one slight bit of a thought of squeezing the trigger unless I was damn sure it was legal. Don't get me wrong I had an awesome time and wouldn't trade it for anything but pictures like this make me sick. Not sure which one pisses me off more. Guys "shot checking deer" or someone not wanting to put the effort into tracking down a wounded animal, and thats a damn nice Buck!

I agree, I could of shot a legal buck on Thursday night but didn't because I checked and then cross checked the points then ran out of light!!!!

sad waste right there. the one i am sure was just left because it was shot and not legal, when they walked up to it. the other one, someone just made a bad shot and it got away. i don't think anyone would have left that buck if they had found it.

Where did you find them?  what unit and area?

I clearly missed a 2x3 opening morning this year and still spent over 2 hours making sure there was no blood and the animal was not hit! No excuse for this at all and I totally agree that binos should be REQUIRED in a 3 point or better area! Makes me friggin sick!

I found a dead 2x2 while out this last weekend hunting with my kids.  It was left from the weekend prior.  Looks like it was shot in its bed and left there after they found out it wasnt a 3 pt.   :bash:  Pissed me off.  Used it as an opportunity to teach my kids.

It really sucks when you see them walk up to a wounded deer they just shot, realize its a 2 point, then disappear leaving the buck to die. We were to far away to do anything about it right then. But we worked our way over, called fish and game and ended up putting the deer down.

That was a real pisser.

Opening day we saw two idiots shooting at a herd of deer across a draw.  3 shots.  I told PathfinderJR to get ready, the herd was coming our way.  When they did, the only buck with them was a slick 2x2.  "Well," I thought "They must have hit the buck they were shooting at."  I peeked back over the spur and there they were, sitting in the same place they had been shooting from.  They had been shooting at the 2x2.   :bash: :bash: :bash:
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
