Nice buck, and great shot.  Just curious, he doesn't look like a big kid, how did he fit your stock to make that shot?  Serious question, not giving you crap.  My little guy is on the small side but reads and comprehends well enough at 7 to pass hunter safety so I am curious about him fitting a rifle.  He kind of leans over the .22, but it does not kick.

Great job.  Love the big smile on the first pic.  Looks like a Christianson Arms?  Good shot.

Austin is only able to make a sitting shot.  He has to use his middle finger to reach the trigger.  He also spends a lot of time at the shooting range through out the summer shooting 5 and 6 hundred yard targets.  My son is 110% legit. Practice and optics make the difference.

I can take someone who has never shot a rifle before and have them shooting 5" rings at 500 yards within 5 shots.  Most of it is optics, load and barrel.  Practice only adds to the consistancy.  Good job to the kid.  I love seeing kids in the field.  I can't wait till my daughter is old enough.  Only about 5 years to go.
I hunt therefore I am.
