i love to eat the stuff. but i would just love to go try it once. me nor none of my pals have a boat or any clue really. my my tho, i would love to try it.

Do we have a time frame for this derby? It would make a difference as to which area to target.

 I'm tentatively thinking weekend of July 19th, no other derby's going on and fishing should be OK. I'm also going to solicit local marina's to allow us to weigh our catch on their scale, take a photo, etc. (Everett, Tacoma, Seabeck, Zittels, others?). Probably the best way with everyone spread out.

I'll be fishing on the Kenai River that week. Can I weigh my fish in from there? :chuckle:
