Whats it worth?
« on: April 24, 2008, 12:21:52 PM »
My dad bought a new Panasonic FZ18, so he's looking to sell his Nikon Coolpix 5000. Comes with all the accesories and also a wide angle lens. It has too many settings for him to figure it out. Most likely will sell it on CL or ebay. Any idea's what its worth or what to ask for it??
Thanks

your best bet would be to search ebay or CL and see what they are going for from others.

It got decent ratings here http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/read_opinions.asp?prodkey=nikon_cp5000
But the fact that it is old and discontinued will surely hurt the resale value. Might not hurt to keep it as a back up?

Thanks guys. It was a good one in its day, still is, but like anything else digital, something better always comes out. Most likely keep it as a back up :dunno:
