finally finding some sheds
« on: October 27, 2010, 06:17:19 PM »
well i have found 4 sheds this year, all from vail. i dont have any pics yet. opening day i found a nice 2pt shed and a spike shed. then last sunday i found my first matched set. only a 2pt but still it was awesome to find a matched set,

funny how i found the match set. i was standing in the middle of a deer bed and happen to look down and seen what i though was a wierd mushroom. i thought wow i havent seen a mushroom like that before. seeing the bottom of the base, then finally realizing there was a antler attached to said mushroom  :chuckle: HOT DAMN i found my first fresh shed (from the previous year) and i looked around for the other shed but didnt see it with eye sight. so i looked back down at the bed and literall not even 3ft from where the first shed was, there was the match.  :chuckle:

man those suckers blend in good, its amazing

ill try and get some pics up later. the first 2pt shed i found is a big blackie shed. 15" tall with 4" bases

ive found 6 sheds total from vail now in the last 2 years, all 2pt sheds and the spike shed.
