I don't think it's illegal unless it's an integral part of the bow weapon. Being hung there by rubberband is not exactly integral. Could be wrong but thats my understanding. On the other hand I'm not sure why it's there. I know that if I left my flashlight taped to my 30-06 err.... uh.... well... forget it. Lets not freak on the guy yet boys and girls. Sometimes you all get the mob mentality going and just start bashing without knowing the whole story.
