Robin hood

Alright guys- can't say I was aiming for the arrow but I was aiming for the same spot. I thought it was pretty neat. Take a looksy.

 I know I ruined the arrow but it wasn't really my intent. Wife's crocs  thanks. I'm really not that good to hit exactly the same spot twice- still learning.

Did the first arrow hit the X?

The first arrow actually did hit the X, at 35 yards. The second arrow was at 40 yards. There were three arrows in between that; they were all over the place.......so it was more luck than anything.....but I thought it was a neat picture even though I'm out of two practice arrows  which are expensive. I usually drift enough at 40 that I wasn't worried about hitting the other arrows.

Won't do that again.

Congrats on your first RH, but after a while you will take steps to avoid them.
with a compound they are pretty easy to do on accident.
a little tougher with a trad bow, but still happens enough that you start picking different spots on your target, or buy a lot of arrows,

That is actually a pretty hard feat to robin hood carbon arrows usually the nock just pops off, or the other arrow explodes.  I have one, and I have shot carbons for years as you improve hitting your other arrows loses its luster refletching arrows, and replacing nocks gets really old after awhile.

I have found that its almost impossible to robin hood eastons axis arrows. I have robin hooded my brothers ICS Beeman hunter arrows once and he has done it twice. The axis are so thin the nocks just break. Im sure its possible, just very hard to do.

I had a double robinhood last year at 30 yrds with Gold tip carbons. 3 arrows stuck end to end. I thought it was kinda cool, I had never done one before. And likely never will again. 3 arrows down the tube. Saved em for show and tell.
