Mossberg 500
« on: October 29, 2010, 09:06:01 AM »
Drat!  My backup gun has failed me for the first time!  In all my years, this is the first problem I've ever had with this gun.

When out trap shooting with my family, the safety completely lodged itself forward and won't move.

Any idea where I can buy the parts needed to fix this???

Thanks!!

Curtis

I think its the 500 not the 870.. :dunno:
Nothing is every goofey with the Remington's is there.
I have a turkey gun, Mossberg 500 and its beena great gun.
My Red Label fell apart after a few 1000 rounds..But its fixed and working fine.

Id say fix he Moss and hunt it till it die's.. :dunno:

lol I would agree 100%. I hunt an 835... But the op has a remmy and I was wondering what was wrong with for him to need the backup gun, lol.

also, I seem to shoot mo betta with the 500 for some reason.

yeah I was going to go pound the salt today with a buddy I haven't hunted with yet but after yesterdays venture I was just too tired to get out, so since today is the wife's b-day... I figured I'd stay in with her, knock out some school work, and rest up for tonight (halloween party in tacoma... the swiss if you're in town!)
