Same buck? good horn growth. Capitol forest buck.
« on: October 29, 2010, 01:45:39 PM »
Do you think it's the same buck? lots of three points in my area. These bucks only show up in late Oct and Nov and are then gone. Never see them all summer of early fall. To bad there is no late muzzy season in this unit. I guess they live at least one more year.

A three point from last year. I think it's a different buck then this one.

The second one looks taller than the first one - I think that they're different bucks.

To bad there is no late muzzy season

:yeah:  Isn't that the truth.  I hunted Capitol Forest most of the early season and only saw does and smaller bucks.  It was nice being out there without the crowds of modern, but about now I'm wishing I would have gone MF this year..............or got the multi-permit. :'(
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

The pictures were taken a year apart.   Still hard to say if the same but very well could be as the racks are very similar in shape

Guess you will have to just start shooting them, and when you run out of three points in the cams you will know. The first two were there during MF so I guess you know what tag to buy next year!
