A blacktail is by far the most handsome of all the deer.  Nicely done!  

Do those of you who have had the privilege of eating a blacktail notice a difference in the meat compared to muleys or whiteys?  (how about between whiteys and muleys?)  

My obsession with blacktails is just beginning....

I guess if I had to pick one, Whitetails are probably the least gamey?? Mule deer eat just fine and I guess I dont think I would know the difference if I ate them both at the same time. I have never had Blacktail.
