I was just looking at the koa website. they have 2 rv options. hookups or no hookups. I would do no hookups, but only if I can run the genny during the day to echarge the batteries. anyone know if they allow generators?

kenzmad
I dont know about that, you  can ask them before ya make reservations...

so, we are doing this on the 4th and 5th of June? I will be in a camper, do i need to call ahead for reservations? Exactly where is this being held? we will come over on Friday and say til Monday. Haven't fished for cats since I was a kid on the mississippi. what are the baits you use over there? I have a 21' nwj with a 150 prop. am I good with this boat(water depth)?

kenzmad
June4th and 5th,some of us will be there from may 30th on thru the 5th,,,we  fish in 4ft to 20 feet of water, there is a shallow spot to go through, but everyone gets through there,we use cut bait, trout or whatever you catch and freeze up..

was just asking the wife if she would want to do this trip and she says YES. will be bringing a couple of girls with us. My girls aren't new to the camping scene and even some of the language of others but was wondering if this is a kid friendly trip?

between getting my ACL worked on and moving to AK I have missed it for the last couple years. funny thing is I actually may be in WA, if that is the case I will do what I can to get down. If I do I will be down with a 17' Alumaweld. Long shot but I would love to be there. If I'm not down yet I'm out fishing on the Kenai, I think that would also be okay.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

ok, have time scheduled off.  Will be there Thur. Fri. Sat. and leaving Sun.  Looking forward to this.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Rasbo your killing me, if it was only the next weekend  :bash:  :chuckle: I'm working until the 27th of May in AK, just don't think I will make it and I so want to this year. That change of scenery would be really nice.
