Rasbo, what do you use for your breading on the catfish? Only asking cuz the wife has Celiac and cannot eat anything with Gluten in it. We normally use corn meal and half a bag of the Louisiana Fish Fry mixed together. Let me know as we may have to fry our own.

Looks like my wife and I will be bringing pulled pork and rolls, cheesy mashed potatoes and a mess of moose turds. Everyone better be hungry.

That sounds really good

Bringing plenty of elk and deer sausage. Elk brats too. Of course adult beverages might find their way into the cooler too.

Bring the deep fryer and make hush puppies to accompany the cat fish. Wife makes a really good coleslaw too

Egg dip and cornflake crumbs, a little Zatarans Fish Fry once in a while.  Try egg dip and instant cheesy mash potatoes, very good for a change.

, louisiana fish fry and a god helping of ceyenne pepper

That may work, thanks. WE will probably bring some of our own over as well as we may want fish on multiple nights. we really like the concoction we have come up with, cornmeal, louisiana fish fry and a god helping of cayenne pepper. This should be a fantastic trip. I cannot wait.

great to hear. I am looking forward to this trip. I love me some fried catfish! Is your kid still coming Runamuk? Are we still planning on doing a night fish? Wife and Girls are really looking forward to this trip. What about campfires? are they allowed and if so, does each site have its own fire ring?

Well, I am coming, but probably will not be able to fish.  Seems I have a torn biceps tendon, and have to have surgery, so they can attach it back to my shoulder with a freaking screw......  :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

No resistance against the muscle for 6 weeks.  Hope I can just catch a ride and enjoy, some good times in the boat.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
