The Palouse might get gnarly too.  North Idaho got a bunch of rain last night and is supposed to get more tonite.

Past 10 days at Hooper the flows have dropped from above 3000 cfs to just above 1000 cfs and river height has gone from 9.5 ft to 6.5 ft.

Any good dough bait recipes?

I was thinkiing of using the guts from the shrimp we will hopefully be getting Saturday and mixing that into some kind of dough bait with garlic and maybe some herring in there as well.

There was a fish report last week and the guy did good on shrimp with garlic oil on it I have never tried that. The guide over there uses cut bait from pike minnows or suckers but don;t know if he uses sent. The weather looks better as the week goes on.

Hey, no stealing my food ideas. :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

I bought a couple large tubs of dough bait. 1 36oz tub of Blood flavored and 1 36oz tub of shad flavored. plus a 12 oz tub of blood flavored stink bait to dip it in. Everyone is more then welcome to use it. I got it from Bass Pro if anyones interested for next year.
