I had a great time. The hunt wa. members are awesome. But today I got my rating paper for the KOA and I rated it as aweful. The people were rude to some of our members and even told one member he had 45 minutes to get out of the campground for rinsing mussells off for our barbeque in a station that said no fish cleaning. One of the members talked to the owner who said he could stay but they were very rude. The restaurant did;nt open until 9 so you had to wait if you wanted breakfast before you fished we asked if they could open before that and they said no. We got 4 pieces of bacon the first two days then they dropped it to 2 pieces for a 10 dollar breakfast. Our members who were there were all going to rate the campground so it was;nt just me. The barbeque was fun and the fishing derby was great and the prizes were way more than expected. We had some great cooks there and a special thnks to Rasbo; Quackwacker and his family for making all this happen.

Well if the pictures are representative of the trip. Rasbo did all the cooking and Lokidog? did all the cleaning of the fish :chuckle:
Where did you get the mussels?
Looks like a good time

I have to say with all the fishing, and running through the flats with a pucker that wouldn't quit because of low water, the great food and good fellowship.Watching those folks with their children there,Including myself. it was awesome to see the family's bond..For me to sit with my son on the water or share the tent at camp is what its all about.Playing Frisbee with Lil Loki, sierra, and Katlin was a blast...Sierra tried to get me fatter on a variety of jelly beans,me teasing Katlin about boys a little,oh and the look on Lil Loki's face when he was given a fishing pole that elite1 had won was awesome also.Think I teared up a little on that one..My son smoked me on catching fish, yet never picked on me about it,,,,,NOT,,,LOL .Having a cup of Joe with my friends in the morning Buckhorn2 and bob, which I haven't done in quite awhile was something that I had looked forward to...Shooting marshmallows at buckhorn2 and folks with my wrist rocket was fun also{thud] lol...Sitting with Steve aka elite1 and having a few sips of apple pie was up there on the list of times I will not forget.Steve and his wife did a wonderful job on the quilt and the derby. But all in all it was the families bonding that really was the topper..Thanks to all of you for the great memories.

I didn't get any camp pics because my camera was on the boat  but I did get some good one from the water. rattler was caught outside of Othello while on a St. Helens ash collecton mission.

After pulling my boat out today I notice that I am missing all of the paint off of the skeg and the nice shiny stainless prop is now sanded down to a dull frost. good times and I am sore from the pucker factor.
