This sounds like a fun trip.. I haven't fished Sekiu in about 30 years or so ..

sounds fun! This going to be a humpy year. I could care less about them but for those that just want to get out with the family and get the young kids into lots of fish you might want to make this trip! I have a friend that lives there and he's telling me they might have over 1 billion of them darn humpys go by this year. I'm thinking about taking my little girl up just so she can experience it!

my sugestion is for this event to be right in the peek of the humpy run. It should be numbers never seen before. Great family fun!

ya humpy fishing at sekiu is insane fun! Sekiu is also fishable for more people that may not be comfortable or have enough boat for neah bay or lapush. I would probably be in

May be up for it.  Maybe I missed it, but when is the Humpy peak up there?

I agree that August is a good time for salmon fishing at Sekiu.

If the season next year is like this year, the Kings will be open until August 15Th. If that is the case, you can catch and keep Kings, Coho's and Humpies. That does add up to a lot of catching and fun. July typically is early for any Coho of any size.

When Rasbo and myself went up this last August, even though it was not a Humpie year, we did a lot of catching. This next year should just be that much better since it is a Humpie year.
