WT open tomorrow.. What do you think of this guy.
« on: November 05, 2010, 01:37:09 PM »
Installed my trail cam and tree stand on Tuesday overlooking this scrape.  Seems like he comes after dark daily except for the day I installed the camera.  Suprised theres no traffic during the day.  A few new rubs around the area.  I think this is the same deer, what do you think.  Hopefully he'll get stupid soon and move during the day.

Pretty good buck, stick an arrow in him so we can see him up close!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

That's a good one.

Haven't really got into bow hunting yet, I think this one will go the way of my old Win 30-30 should he decide to join me on that scrape tomorrow.

I think you've got 2 different bucks there.
1's a little bigger than the other.

I thought it was two different bucks but wasn't sure.  I was trying to count antler points off 1 main beam, and check the other to see if they match.  I thought 1 had 3 on the left and the other 4 on the left but just couldn't be sure.. If its two different bucks there, they both look like shooters to me.

That would be tough considering i've only shot blacktail, and these seem to be pretty good bucks.  Not sure what they would score, but I would be more than satisfied with one.

I'm not sure you don't even have three bucks there. Pic #3 is a toad and much wider than #2, it appears you also have a buck in between those two in the other pics. The buck in the 3rd pic could be a Booner, not by a lot, but it's possible. All nice deer, especially for Washington.

A few more pics of those.  I'm pumped, sighted in the gun today.. (good thing I didn't find any deer in the early.) I must've bumped it hard, shooting over a foot high.

The top buck has 4 points on his right side.
The one in the 3rd pic has 4 on his left side.

And I agree there may be 3.

The area is full of rubs and scrapes.  If they are 3 different bucks of that size, theres gonna be some fightin going on soon.  I feel sorry for any small buck that comes around lookin to see a doe in that hole.
