What unit was that or general area? Also was it public land? Thinking about a deer hunt in WY or MT in the future. looks like a great time.

The landowner who's land we hunted on told us his deer herd is down 50% in the last 2 years and no he doesn't over hunt the 10K acres we hunted on had 3 bucks taken from it our 2 and 1 other. Even the antelope #'s are down even though they still up to  4 doe tags per hunter.

Yep there was a decline in the deer for sure.Between the lions, wolfs and bears it makes it hard for thing to make it.I talked to some guys from texas that were hunt in the timber, and they got two deer and the grizzly ate them at night 100 ft from there camp.Maybe they didn't read the info pack they got in the mail.P.s. thanks for the ammo 509er.

He's a nice buck.  I was just wondering how wide. Looks like he has some good mass and long tines to.
