Two Lakes with Fall Colors

Here is a batch of photos I took Nov. 3rd. of a couple of lakes southeast of Mt. Vernon, Wa. to show what a Beautiful Fall day we were having. The morning started out quite windy, but when the wind died down the weather was Amazing!

I couldn't believe how beautiful and Blue the water came out, nor how still and Reflective the calm waters became!

Great pics, GPR!  That was the day I was stuck in the office.  Glad you got out to enjoy it!  The last mountain shot is Three Fingers, btw.  That's where I met my wife on a climb almost 20 years ago.  The trip wasn't that great, but the marriage took, so far!

Thanks for the compliment on the photos and the information on the name of the mountain. I feel like a dummy! I have lived here all my life and I didn't know the name of a mountain that I have seen so many times it is pathetic. 

Glad your marriage took off so well! May you have 40 years Plus together in health and happiness!

You bring back old memories GPR.  Here's a video I found of the trip I used to take every summer.  I think I went up there seven times.  It is extremely beautiful up there.
