I WANT A DEER IN MY FREEZER. NEED HELP FOR LATE SEASON.
« on: November 05, 2010, 10:06:04 AM »
I WAS NOT GOING TO DO ANY BIG GAME HUNTING THIS SEASON CUZ I GOT A PUP AND WAS TOO OCCUPIED WITHTRAINING AND UPLAND HUNTING,  WELL MY PUP DIED ABOUT A MONTH AGO, AND NOW I CAN'T REALLY DO MUCH UPLAND HUNTING, SO I DECIDED THAT IT WOULD BE NICE TO GET A DEER THIS YEAR, AND I WAS WONDERING WHERE WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE FOR ME TO HUNT LATE SEASON MODERN FIREARM,  NORTHEAST CORNER OR WEST WA? I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT EITHER AREAS, I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE WOULD GIVE ME A HAND, POINT ME IN A GOOD DIRECTION TO START, I HONESTLY DON'T CARE IF I SHOOT A BUCK OR DOE, WICHEVER IS LEGAL I JUST WANT THE MEAT. I WOULD REALLY APRECIATE ANY HELP, I KNOW THIS IS LAST MINUTE, I JUST REALIZED THAT LATE SEASON ON THE EAST SIDE STARTS TOMORROW,  BUT I WILL BE POINTED IN A GOOD DIRECTION I WILL ME OUT IN THE FEILD EARLY TOMORROW MORNING,   THANKS AGAIN FOR ANY HELP.  :)

you can do both. NE is open 6-19 and west side is open 18-21. NE won't normally heat up until about the 14th, but i've heard there is solid pre-rut activity already. there is plenty of public land in 111. if that doesn't work out for you then you still have a couple days to hunt west.
