another limit tnite puts me at 115 for the season so far.....

as for what do I do with all the meat?....I and family eat the nice mallards and teal (marinated and cooked on grill) as well as at least 1 leg from every duck.  The rest goes to a couple of local food banks/ missions where it is highly appreciated......last year I killed 301 ducks and 15 geese.....not an ounce of it went to waste...and non ever will

I enjoy pictures and stories of great hunts but number counts are for ego strokes and attracting groupies!! Honestly wouldnt everyone just want to see pictures and hear stories instead of.....

hey drk chill out.. I'm pretty sure that the original question asked was about peoples numbers of birds they have shot so far this year. so he was just answering to the original post. so if you don't like hearing about it, why did you even comment in this thread? :bash:

I think he must have some kind of inferiority complex. Belittling and ridiculing others somehow makes him feel better about himself in some twisted way. Comments like his ruin what otherwise is a fun discussion by everyone.

its just if you don't like it you don't have to burst everyone else's bubble... we are just curious to see where people are at! just let it be, each to their own!

and its all part of the sport, in big game hunting, hunters can brag about how big of a rack the dear has or whatever it happens to be, but in waterfowl hunting, unlike other types of hunting, you can shoot a crapton of birds through out the season, and except for the different types of ducks, most dont vary too much in size, so we brag about how many we shoot, not how big the 1 animal we can shoot is.
