That is a cut and paste from B&C.  Ashford is just barley west of the line but it then goes east along the southern NP boundary to R9E and R10E.  That line is a few miles east of the town of Packwood.

Regardless of what a book says, or if the deer stepped across a line on a map, its easy to tell that deer has Muley in his genes. Compare that deer to a true costal blackie and you'll agree. (well, most will). As many have said though, that's a pisser. Beautiful buck and dandy trophy of a lifetime.
